Chimatsuri Welcomes News of Tokkyland's Withdrawal

Prime Minister of NSW, Sereya Yttri, has publically praised Tokkyland's retreat from the Aleniara Isle. "This is exactly the kind of response that Minister Maricella-Vynr was hoping for in issuing his warning," the region's leader said early this afternoon. "We can only hope that this is the beginning of the end of unrest within the region."

Cabinet Proposes Conference Over Nuernian Troubles

Given NuerNeo's lack of reaction to the threatened trade sanctions, Prime Minister Yttri has extended an invitation to Kalamare, Tokkyland and Byzantiium to hold a conference on how to best address the issue.

"I would ask that these nations each send a small party to the conference, to be hosted by my own nation, Chimatsuri, at which we will discuss how we, as a region, can assist to bring the conflict in NuerNeo and Imperial Rusland to an end. The Chimatsuriite party will consist of Prime Minister Alenka Denz, Defence Minister Maricella-Vynr, And Immigration Minister Lockytt. I will also be present to oversee proceedings."

Kalamare Considers Invitation

There has been much discussion over Chimatsuri's recent proposal.
"I just don't see how we can fix anything," said an anonymous politician. "They're are a different nation, they have jurisdiction over themselves, we can't control what they want to do with their citizen's lives."
Other people think it is a very good idea, while some are quite indifferent.
The cabinet has decided to send a small group over to Chimatsuri to see what they can find out about these discussions. It has not been decided yet who will go to Chimatsuri, but many people have volunteered.

Tokkyland accepts the invitation.

After a lot of debating on who will go, we finally decided that we will send a small group, consisting of the Prime Minister, the MoFA, the MoD and several politicians who volunteered themselves to go.
"We will see what we can do, but I personally do not think there is anything to be done, as I consider that NuerNeo should not be punished for fighting a terorrist group." says Robert Smithson, one of the politicians attending the council.
The group is to leave tomorrow morning by plane from Jonathan National Airport in Tokkyopolis, heading to the capital of Chimatsuri.

Who Will Go

After Tokkyland's decision to send a party to Chimatsuri, the government has decided to send their VPM, MoFA, and the VPM of New South Wales. Out of all the volunteers, the head of the immigration office has been chosen. They are still skeptical and do not think it will do any good, they just know that it probably won't do any harm. The party leaves tomorrow morning, and is expected in Chimatsuri by noon.

Shipments Still in Stall

Since the government of NuerNeo has given no reply to Kalamare's sollution to the medical problem, the ships containing these supplies are still in port, where they will remain until NuerNeo gives a definite answer. The crews and deckhands of these ships are enjoying a long shore leave and extra time with their families.

Chimatsuri Welcomes International Visitors

Prominent members of the Chimatsuriite government have today welcomed delegates from Tokkyland and Kalamare to the country's capital, Corburg. The guests were escorted to rooms in one of the city's finest hotels to relax and recover from jetlag, with formal discussions set to begin tomorrow afternoon.
Parties from both countries, as well as that from Chimatsuri, have been asked to bring with them any ideas they have as to address the current instability.

The Comrade's Friend

Armies Ground to a Halt

For days, IFA has been suffering continuous losses against NET and Militia forces in Imperial Rusland. The bulk of the IFA militants have been forced to retreat into their stronghold in the city of Set.
"Unfortunately this means we cannot push further without putting serious risk to the civilian population of Set." Says an anonymous Militia Commander, "IFA is using the civilian population as a human shield, and we have no way of penetrating this shield without causing heavy casualties."
Militia forces have surrounded the southern and eastern sides of the city while NET forces have blockaded the western side.

NuerNeo and Tokkyland form a Military Alliance
NuerNeo’s High Diplomat Joseph Zurk met with Tokkyland's Minister of Defence, Mr. Bogdan Seima, in the hope of organising a military agreement between the two neighbouring nations. After a lot of debating and discussing, the official pact was finished. The pact states that:

1. Tokkyland shall aid NuerNeo in any means possible when the aforementioned state is being invaded or threatened by another nation. NuerNeo shall also aid Tokkyland if the nation finds itself under the same circumstances.
1.1 This shall be rendered null and void if the reason for the invasion or threats is to overthrow a regime that is commiting horrible human rights violations, or is disrespecting World Assembly Resolution.

2. NuerNeo shall aid Tokkyland in any means possible when the latter attacks or invades another nation. Tokkyland shall also aid NuerNeo when it will find itself under the conditions.
2.1 This shall be rendered null and void if the reason for the attacks or invasions is only for monetary gains.
2.2 This shall be rendered null and void if the attacks or invasions are done without a proper declaration of war.

3. Tokkyland shall provide any aid necessary for NuerNeo should it find itself in a civil war. No citizens shall be harmed until the government allows the harm of citizens. NuerNeo shall also do the same when Tokkyland will be under a civil war.
3.1 This shall be rendered null and void if the reason for the civil unrest is to overthrow a regime that is commiting horrible human rights violations.
• According to the pact, the nations shall provide military aid, economic aid or both to each other, depending on the aid required by the government and only under the mentioned conditions.
• Both nations will be allowed to build military bases on the teritorry of the other state, in government approved locations. Their goal will be to respond faster to the events described above, before further aid can arrive.
• Each nation will also construct underground bunkers and shelters, which will be occupied by refugees from the other nation in case of invasion or civil war.

NuerNeo Accepts Kalamare's Conditions

NuerNeo has decided to accept Kalamare's new conditions regarding medical aid to Imperial Rusland. Military personnel have been sent to sea and airports to aid in the distribution of the medical supplies to various strategic points. NuerNeo has also released all confiscated goods that arrived in Imperial Rusland from Kalamare during the ban.

Shipments Up and Running Again

Since NuerNeo's acceptance of our aide to Imperial Rusland, the crews of the ships have been flocking back to them, and preparing to head across the sea. The first fleet (consisting of five trade vessels) left port this morning. Since then, three more private vessels have left, and two are expected to shove off later this evening.

Kalamare Approves Search for Diplomat

(OOC: I am so sorry, I totally forgot about this. Hopefully he hasn't died yet...)

Unsure of what has happened to the diplomat sent by Kalamare to Tokkyland, the government has sent it's approval and begs for them to search for the Klamarian citizen.
The government has publicly applauded the establishment of the NET, and seeks to form their own special forces militia.

OOC: NET was formed before the RP already started, it's Tokkyland's special forces that have just been formed, and NET isn't a militia force, they're special forces. The Militia is basically just an army of conscripts from all corners of NuerNeo that either band together in times of need. It's more like a really big, and heavily armed rabble that is led and organised by NET.

TSF tracks down the negotiator

After the requests from the Kalamarian government to find out what happened to their negotiator sent to Aleniara Isle, the government has decided it is finally time for TSF's (Tokkyland's Special Forces) first mission. They have been deployed in a forest south of the capital city of the Isle, their goal being to find and rescue the negotiator without causing too much damage, which could spark the war again. Currently, no more information can be revealed, but we ask everyone to pray for these brave souls.

Tokkyland builds bases in NuerNeo

Yesterday, hours after the Military Pact has been revealed to the world, 5 military convoys have been seen crossing the border into NuerNeo. The Commander-in-chief of Tokkyland, Mr. Robert Beckmann, said at a press conference :

"Five military convoys have left Tokkyland for NuerNeo. According to the Military Pact, we are now required to set up bases in strategic points in Nuernian teritorry, so the first bases will be built as such: two of them on the island that is split between NuerNeo and Imperial Rusland, one in the south-eastern corner and one in the south-western corner; one south of West Horn; one in the west-most point of NuerNeo, by the border to Kalamare (it looks like a peninsula) and one roughly in the middle of mainland NuerNeo. They should arrive at their target locations tomorrow by noon, and until then, there is not much to say." ended the Commander, before stepping down from the podium and leaving.

The Comrade's Friend

IFA Decimates Militia-NET Advance

Yesterday, a combined Militia and NET force attempted an advance into the city of Set to establish a front. However IFA has resorted to guerrilla tactics, sniping Nuernian troops from inside the city's tall buildings. Nuernian forces continued to push forwards despite heavy losses from IFA. Fortunately, a Militia armored battalion managed to reinforce the advancing troops and clear the area. Nuernian casualties are estimated to be around 900, IFA casualties are estimated to be around 140 and civilian casualties are unknown.

NuerNeo Constructs NET Headquarters in Tokkyland

To fulfill NuerNeo's part of the Military Pact, NET has sent 3 battalions to Tokkyland to construct a base that will act as NET's Foreign Headquarters. NuerNeo has assured Tokkyland that Militia reinforcements will be sent once Imperial Rusland has been secured.

TSF rescues Mr. Peckman

Mr. Peckman, the diplomat from Kalamare was rescued today by the TSF. He was held captive in a high-rise building close to the capital's center. Without giving too much violent and bloody details, the TSF managed to find and rescue him, while suffering only 7 casualties. Mr. Peckman has revealed to us the reason why he was kept captive:

"They thought I was a spy from Tokkyland sent to gather information and assasinate important political figures. They said I will not be free until Tokkyland admits that it sent me to assasinate their leaders, and if Tokkyland attacks I will be the first victim."

He is currently at Victoria Hospital in Lapinoz, and will be sent to Kalamare tomorrow.

NuerNeo bases are done

Now the first part of the bases in NuerNeo is done, and they have been named after the commanders in each respective base. The exception is the base south of West Horn, which was named after our leader, Alin Tokky, which will also be the biggest and most defended base. Tokkyland also assures NuerNeo that there is no need to sent Militia reinforcements yet. Even more, after hearing the news we decided to sent 2 divisons, 1 squadron and 1 air wing to Imperial Rusland to help defeated the IFA menance.

Kalamarre Overjoyed with News of Peckman

After the TSF discovered Mr. Peckman yesterday, the nation has been rejoicing that yet another one of it's citizens has been returned to them.
When he arrived at the airport today, he was greeted by a large crowd, his family in the front. After a while he managed to silence them all, personally thanking the all of Tokkyland.
"I would like to say thank you, to all of Tokkyland, the TSF, and especially all the young men and women who gave up their lives for me. Thank you so much, to all of you."
The crowd repeated his message, and he was then escorted down to his family and continued home.

Selena Hammen Fit to Return Home

Nuernian doctors have declared that the Kalamarian diplomat, Selena Hammen, is fit to return to Kalamare. Her injuries have been fully treated but she has been advised to keep resting for the next week. The Nuernian Militia is ready to escort Hammen to Kalamare as soon as they have received the go-ahead from the Kalamarian government.

Hammen Finally Coming Home

Selena Hammen has been given the all clear to come home form NuerNeo, and the country anxiously awaits her arrival.

Kalamare would like to thank the country of NuerNeo for taking such good care of our diplomat and uses their limited resources to help our citizen during their own time of trouble.
